Seol-Yun is the chief priestess of the convent of Chun-Eum-Chung at Tae-Ryung Palace in Dae-Hyun.
She has long light lilac colored hair, and is seen wearing a serious expression when she is introduced.
Seol-Yun is a minor character who appeared for a short time in the beginning of the series when she brought the Divine Bells during the ceremony in which the Bell chooses a new owner. As the head of the convent of Chun-Eum-Chung, the chief deity of Tae-Ryung Palace, she carries out the deity's decision. She is the one who transfers the bells to their new owner(s) during the Bell Ceremony. In order to transfer and carry out the Bell Ceremony, she chants in Archaic Chinese. After the Bell has been transferred to the new owner, she announces the new owner and its Bell.
She later makes an appearance when Baek-Yeom seizes control of Dae-Hyun, using the appearance of Hyun-Joo, and using mind control on the three most powerful advisors to the emperor - Jae-Chung, Mu-Yeong, and Seol-Yul - to convince the palace guards that the real Hyun-Joo is actually an imposter.
